The idea

Music you put on and leave on.

Deep work at a loud desk. Twenty minutes when your head won't settle. Sleep on a night flight. Every room here holds four pieces that play continuously, steady and unhurried, with nothing in them that jumps out at you. Underneath it all runs a steady wash of sound that helps cover the noise around you.

Bright enough to work

Bright, unhurried music that holds one level for hours. It is written to sit behind what you are doing, so there is nothing in it that pulls your attention over.

Deep enough to sleep

Nobody talks in it. There are no courses, no streaks and no guided sessions. Put it on to sit with for a while, to wind down at the end of the day, or to sleep through the night.

Helps cover the noise

A steady wash of water, wind and air runs under every track the whole time, with no swells and no gaps, so voices, chewing and tapping are easier to ignore. If you would rather have plain noise, you can swap that layer for brown, pink or white in any track.

The rooms

Choose a door.
Stay a while.

A room is a place the music puts you: a bamboo grove, a bathhouse, the far north. Each one holds four pieces written for that same place, from bright enough to work in to deep enough to sleep in. Open its door and it plays for as long as you like.

Focus, Unwind, Relax, Sleep.

A misty bamboo grove above a shallow stone-bedded stream. Free forever

The Bamboo Grove

Rain-wet stalks, moving water, green light. Four tracks, Green Hour to Understory.

A dark stone bathhouse, still water and a single vertical light.

The Baths

Steam, slate, and the long echo of a hall made of water. Four tracks, First Light on Water to Deep Water.

An ochre chamber with a column of daylight falling through an oculus.

The Sanctum

One shaft of light, a bell somewhere far off, warm air. Four tracks, Procession to Last Bell.

A vast dune ridge under a dust-coloured sky, a tiny doorway at the crest.

The Dunes

Dry wind over sand, the oldest steady sound there is. Four tracks, High Sun to Night Crossing.

Green aurora over snow mountains and a frozen lake at night.

The Tundra

Polar wind, ice hiss, and light moving where you can't hear it. Four tracks, White Morning to Under the Lights.

More doors
to come.

New rooms are being composed now. Each one is included as it opens.

Press play on a door for thirty seconds of what's behind it, each one taken from a different point on the dial. Pick a piece and it plays continuously for as long as you leave it on.

The mix

Every track comes apart while it plays.

Drag to blend, tap to mute. Pull the piano down when you need to think, push the pads up when it gets loud around you. Whatever you change stays how you left it.

  • Pads the steady bed under everything
  • Bass weight and floor
  • Drums pulse, when you want one
  • Sound FX water, wind and air. Or brown, pink, white noise
  • Melody the part you'll hum later, or play yourself

Play along

Reach in and play.

Every piece has parts you can touch while it plays, including the melody, which you can play yourself. Add a few notes when you feel like it and stop when you don't; the music keeps going either way. You don't need to know how to play anything.

How it works

Put the headphones on
and pick a room.

i.

Open the hall

The app opens on a corridor of doors, one for each room. There is no feed and nothing to scroll.

ii.

Walk through

Pick a room and the door opens into it. Sound and image arrive together, so the change of room feels real.

iii.

Set your level

Blend the layers to the hour: brighter to work, dimmer to drift, more of the wash when it gets loud around you. Then leave it. It keeps playing until you stop it.

Questions

Common questions

What's a room?

A collection of songs, related in style and theme. There are five: a bamboo grove, a bathhouse, a stone sanctum, desert dunes, and the far north. Each one has its own art, its own door, and four songs written for it.

The four cover different things you might want from it: bright to focus, warm to unwind, dusk to relax, deep to sleep. Pick the room for the sound you want and the song for what you are doing. It plays continuously until you stop it.

Is it for focus, sleep, or meditation?

All three. Each room has four versions along one dial: bright to focus, warm to unwind, dusk to relax, deep to sleep. Whichever one you pick plays continuously for as long as you leave it on.

Is this a meditation app?

No. There are no courses, no streaks and no guided sessions, and nobody talks. Pick a room, put it on for twenty minutes or three hours, play along with it if you want to, and stop when you are done.

Does this actually block noise?

It helps cover noise rather than block it. Nothing played through headphones removes a sound in the room. What it can do is put a steady sound over the top, so a voice you were following word by word gets harder to follow and easier to ignore. The same goes for smaller sounds: chewing, tapping, a pen clicking four desks away.

Every track keeps that steady wash running underneath the whole time. It works well with noise-cancelling headphones, which handle low, constant sounds like engines and fans. And if brown noise already works for you, every track carries brown, pink and white noise on the same layer.

Can I just play brown noise?

Yes. Every track has a layer of water, wind and air running under it, and you can tap that layer to swap it for plain brown noise, pink noise or white noise instead. Turn the other layers down and that is all you get: steady brown noise, nothing else, for as long as you leave it on.

That works the same way in all twenty tracks, including the four in the free room.

Will it drain my battery or need a signal?

The app comes with music on it, so it plays with no signal at all, and audio keeps running with the screen off and in the background. It is built to run for hours at a time.

New songs and rooms are downloaded as they are added. That part needs a connection, once per song. After it lands it plays offline like the rest.

Who makes the music, and is any of it AI?

People do. It is written, arranged and mixed by humans, and original to this app. We do use our own software to extend our music according to rules we set. Think of it more like a capable arpeggiator than like artificial intelligence.

That is different from generative AI like Suno. Those models are trained on existing recordings and return a finished track from a prompt. Ours are trained on nothing and produce notes, not audio. People set the harmony, keep or rewrite every phrase, and play it through instruments we license and mix ourselves.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for, then drop back to the free room, which stays free. You can resubscribe later and pick up exactly where you left off.

Peace, even here.

The open-plan floor, the night flight, the apartment above yours at eleven, and some days just your own head. You can't always make those quiet. Put this on and you are somewhere else for a while.
